<description>Due to the content of the Benzie County Wind ordinance and its lack of adequate protection for its citizens, most of the county&#039;s townships that would be affected by the current Duke Energy proposed project have declared moratoriums in an effort to gather and investigate information on wind energy and it&#039;s negative impacts on the environment and human health, as well as property values, tourism industry, night skies and view sheds.
