Lisa has been helping clients resolve campaign finance issues and maintain compliance for more than 16 years. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Northwood University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, Dearborn. Ms. Farnum has over 25 years of experience in business and association management.

    A 30-year communications veteran, Lorri is recognized as one of the top marketing professionals in Michigan.

    Lorri began her career as a community journalist, serving as editor of award- winning newspapers in Hershey, Penn., and Grand Ledge, Mich. Among her many accolades for news writing are numerous Michigan Press Association awards for reporting on education, local government and communities.

    Among her many professional awards and recognitions, Lorri has earned the Pacemaker of the Year award, the highest honor bestowed by the Public Relations Society of America’s Central Michigan Chapter, and 2015 Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Small Business Association of Michigan. She also received the Athena Award for Organizational Excellence.

    Under her leadership, Edge was recognized as a Top 50 Company to Watch, Entrepreneurs of the Year and among Inc. magazine’s 500/5000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.

  • Paul Hillegonds

    Hillegonds’ career has always been focused on improving life for the people of Michigan. He served for two decades in the Michigan House of Representatives, including as co-speaker and speaker of the house. He then held positions as president of Detroit Renaissance and senior vice president of Community Affairs for DTE Energy; in both roles he championed metro Detroit, facilitated regional investment and collaboration, and worked to advance equity and justice.

    Joelle began her legislative career in 1996 and has worked in the House of Representatives and Senate as a scheduler, legislative director, policy advisor and floor operations manager. She has worked in member offices, an appropriations chair, central staff and 4 sets of Speakers and Majority Floor Leaders. Joelle is only one of a few in the Capitol community who has left legislative staff for the lobbying community twice.

    Joelle is currently the VP and lobbyist for the Telecommunications Association of Michigan and lobbied for the Michigan Bankers Association for 4 years. Joelle lives in Saginaw with husband of 33 years, Todd, and is mother to 3 sons and two daughters in love, and grandma to 5 wonderful granddaughters. All free time is spent with her family or at their cabin in Alcona County on Michigan’s Sunrise Side.
